God’s Silence

Habakuk 1:5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

God’s silence is powerful. Think of the instance in in John 8 where people brought a woman caught in adultery to begods-silence judged . And when people were shouting and accusing this woman. They wanted Jesus to judge her, so that they may stone her to death as per the law of Moses. In the middle of all this chaos Jesus stood up and wrote on the ground as if He has not heard the men as mentioned in John 8:6. Rest we all know the story how all the men left and on the woman received forgiveness from her sins. The most outstanding aspect of this story was the Lord’s silence in the middle of all chaos and commotion. Think of the woman who was caught and brought to be judged. She might be expecting big words of judgement on her but on the contrary she received the blessed silence.

If God’s word is powerful so is His silence. If we trust God for His word let us trust Him for His silence.

This morning I feel God’s silence is not because of His anger or absence but He is working on something so great that it has not yet entered our minds. He is a God of impossible. The storms that are disheartening you today are about to be rebuked. Be prepared for your victory because it is round the corner. Have a blessed day Pastor T. Bakshi

Come Out

Proverbs 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

come outDear Friends, The above mentioned two verses are the ways to come out of our sins. One of the things with small and hidden sins, is that they make us comfortable with the manner they exist in our lives.  Jesus is a lover of sinners not sin. And the Bible says we all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory but reconciled through the blood of Jesus. Reconciliation does not mean that we conceal our wrong doings. It means coming out of our old habits of sin and leading a Holy life.

The first step to come out of the sin is to know what are the areas of sin. This understanding will come as we spend quality time in the presence of His Holy Spirit . The second step is being open to God, and opening up your bad accounts in front of Him. Prosperity for you is God’s idea & true prosperity comes through confession & repentance. A lot of people are caught up in pride wars, sickness, poverty because of covering up their sins. God knows everything about you including your deepest darkest secrets. Then why pretend and suffer. Be clear by all means in front of God and confess the sin to a mature and trust worthy member of the body of Christ. As it is in the above mentioned verse James 5:16. This person should be able to help you with prayer and guide you with the word of God. In order to overcome sin and enjoy God’s peace and prosperity . Have a Blessed day. Pr. T. Bakshi

Lord my Strong Tower

Proverbs 18:10-11 The name of the Lord is a fortified tower;the righteous run to it and are safe. The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it a wall too high to scale.

Lord-my-Strong-Tower

Dear Friends, what do you think can solve your problems? What makes you safe? We all bank on certain things to solve our issues and problems in life. Often that’s what we are running after.

The above mentioned verse exactly mentions the two different mentalities. Some of us who are focused on the worldly things to solve our problems.  It could be our finances, our friends or may be even fame. But all these things have limitations no matter how effective they may look or sound. To whom we run to when we face a problem, shows the true state of our faith and mindset. There is a God who knows no limits and who has no bounds and is waiting on us to turn to Him to solve our issues. It would be an intelligent idea to give God the first (and His rightful) place in our problems as well. The Bible says in Psalms 46:10 (a) “Be still and now that I am God…”

The enemy wants to give you the impression that your “stuff” is stronger or more reliable than God. He wants you to shake when you face a challenge. Don’t take that bait. Turn to God and see the deliverance. Solomon who is known to be the richest and the wisest king says that the righteous are safe in the presence of the Lord for the name of the Lord is a fortified tower. Lets cast down the false imagination which tells us that riches can save us. Lets look towards God so He may usher us to safety. Pr. T.Bakshi

Christ for U

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor , Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Christ for U

Dear friends, the above mentioned verse is actually a prophecy. This prophecy was given by Prophet Isaiah approximately 700 years before the birth of Christ. The verse talks about a child and a son given to us. Who is this “us” mentioned in the verse?

The Bible says in John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have an eternal life”. In other words  Jesus belongs to whoever believes in Him . You can be from any caste, creed or religious background it does not matter.  If you chose to believe in Jesus, He belongs to you.

A lot of people believe that Jesus Christ came for a special set of people who belong to a religion, or you have to be super spiritual to know Jesus and get miracles from Him. But The truth is something else. If you hear this word and ready to believe that Jesus belongs to you. Your journey which is full of miracles and breakthrough already has started. God gave HIS son for all those who are lost, irrespective of caste, creed, colour and religion. Jesus Christ is your biggest gift. The giver of the gift feels happy when his gift is put to use by the recipient. Similarly you need to unwrap the gift of God. Spend time with Jesus know Him and partake in His power and authority to win your daily battles. You are precious to God and have a role to play in His kingdom. Have a blessed day-Pr. Bakshi

Engage with God Everyday

Psalm 5: 3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.engage with God everyday

Dear friends, let me ask you a question – how do you start your day? What is the first thing that you do in the morning? What is the first thought that crosses your mind the moment you open your eyes. The things that drive us determine who we really are.

This is one of the psalms written by king David, when he wasn’t crowned king yet. He was persecuted, mocked, lied about and pursued by his enemies. He was on the run although he was anointed by God for becoming the king of Israel and all the promises he had received seemed beyond possibility. In between all this anguish he did not forget to engage with God everyday. The first thing he did was speak to God. God is interested in our day to day affairs and wants to be a part of everything we do everyday. When we go through trials and testing situations we forget about HIM as if He is absent. The key to victory is to engage with HIM everyday. As you read the rest of the psalm you will read about the joy of the righteous.

Somebody once said part time christians cannot defeat a full time devil. We cannot just rely on our Sunday experience to sustain a victorious week . To lead a victorious life we need to carry on the Sunday experience to the rest of the six days of the week. Its true that every day will present its unique challenge, at the same time every day we can get from God the required anointing, wisdom and grace to go through those challenges. We serve a living God who is full of love and zeal for us. He is interested to meet with you and hear you every second of every day . People around you may not be interested in hearing you all the time but God is. Spend quality and alone time with God every morning. Have a victorious day- Pr. T. Bakshi
